2012. The year I used to only entertain in my thoughts as a distant fantasy. I remember thinking forward to this year and realizing I would be OLD. As in, old enough to have a job, old enough to get married, buy a car, pay my own bills. All of these things make you a grown up, right? I’m coming to terms that age and years doesn’t define my growth and I am more moldable/bendable/breakable as ever. Here’s to 2012 and not knowing what it holds—but knowing it’s going to be good. It’s going to be year of firsts and for that, I am thankful and excited.
be a new year, a new life
