I just don’t even know where to begin. The end of school? Graduation? Barbados? Job? Ah, so many things have happened since I’ve been regularly updating and I just can’t contain it all in one little dainty dish post. That is to say, a full update would be more of an overflowing platter than a dainty dish.
School ended and, though I was excited to jump into the next phase, it has been so hard to be living in this sweet college town without so many of the people who have made it home for these last four years. I am more than confident that the Lord has provided me with a stable community here and will continue to bring amazing people into my life, but it’s hard at times. A bit lonely, to be completely honest.
Graduation—now this was surreal. Fireworks, friends and a full heart. Such a bittersweet night, but I was so blessed to spend it with fifteen (or so) of the people who have loved and supported me most throughout my life. I can’t believe college is over!
Whew, we are flying through this! So Barbados. I can’t even talk about it without wanting to be back. Sunshine. Sea turtles. Fresh seafood. Naps. Books. Sunrises. Hiking. Coconuts. Raw honey. Long walks. Smoothies. Avocados the size of my face. Horseback riding. It was seven days of exactly what I needed before jumping headfirst into this “real world” I’m living in now.
The good news is—I have a job I absolutely adore. I work with the most wonderful and caring people in town and get to tell great stories about great companies doing great things all the live long day. Can you tell, I think it’s great!
So here we are. It’s nearly June and I feel His blessings all around. Thank you, Lord, for mercies anew every morning. And for showing me how abundant life can be.

This is where I’ve been, but I’m back now! I’m a working girl, too. Updates to come.
